About this site
A small, independent project. No venture capital, no subscription, no pop-ups.
Why this site exists
A few years ago, I watched my grandmother try to print her boarding pass from her iPad. She got through most of it on her own. She got stuck on the last step. She spent 45 minutes on the phone with her airline. She eventually asked a stranger at the airport for help.
The internet has thousands of guides for "how to print a PDF." Most are written by sites trying to sell you software. They gloss over the step she needed. They're wall-to-wall ads and chat pop-ups.
This site is the one I wish she'd found: plain English, big text, no pop-ups, one small ad at the bottom. That's it.
Who writes the guides
A small team of volunteers who care about making the internet less frustrating. Every guide is tested on a real device before it ships — we don't publish anything we haven't tried ourselves, and we revisit each guide at least once a year to make sure the screenshots and button labels still match reality.
If you spot something that's out of date or wrong, please send us a note — we fix errors within a day or two.
